Saturday, May 21st-D Day!!

SO, after lots of trials and tribulations, we made it to the alter! The day turned out great (except Josey being sick). The girls and I got our hair done that am, and I had my make up done. Josey'd woke in the middle of the night Friday night with a fever. I plied her with tylenol and it broke. I plied her with tylenol again before the wedding. It seemed to help, mostly, until later.

All smiles here-I'd decided to look out at everyone as I walked down the aisle and promptly almost fell on my hinney. Yeah, that was some good times lol. Thankfully my father was there to catch me (as always)

All of us together. What you don't see is, thru most of the ceremony, Jake spent his time attempting to blow the candles out, or staring at them, thinking about how to blow them out. It's quite humorous if you look at all the pictures.

Hello Mr & Mrs Goodman!!

I love this pic.

And the whole family together. I'm super happy everyone was able to make it to our special day.

The Goodman/Bulloss clan. It worked out that the fountains were going at the Bellagio while we were taking pictures, so Frank got a ton of good pics!

Brett & I.

Jake, waiting at the Maggianos. I love this pic =)

The back of Liv's hair. It turned out fantastic.

Josey, thinking. Poor kid, by this time, was miserable. She ended up having some random virus that lasted a couple of days. She passed out in the lobby of the hotel on Sunday and we spent 5 hours in the ER with her, getting her fluids.

I love this picture, too.

Liv and the attack of the pink dog. My friend Tiffany bought her this dog after she heard we tragically left Tiara (the pink unicorn) at home. She decided she was going to attack Frank with her dog. Frank decided instead of telling her to stop, he was going to take a succession of photos. While he got beat up, he got some great pictures of Liv lol.

We went out to the Welcome to Vegas sign and got some great pics. Wish this guy wasn't in the background (or, at least, wearing a shirt that blended in more lol)

This picture totally cracks me up!

So, while we were at the Welcome to Las Vegas sign, Mom and Dad had the kids. Jake decided he would take off his shirt, but DID NOT want to take off his vest. Why? Because he said he wanted to look like a Vegas dealer hahahhahaa. That kid is a nut ball.

Mom let Liv run around without any shoes on. GROSS!

Later that night, we went to Fremont Street with Todd, Kelly, Kristina, and Kayden. Todd and Brett were thrilled to go to Binyons, the home of the World Series of Poker

We saw the awesome light show they do nightly. This one was American Pie. They had all these lights that went with the show. So cool!

Todd and Kayden

Kristina, all grown up!

Kelly and I

All and all, it was a great day!! So glad to see so many family and friends willing to make the trip to Vegas to watch us get married.

May 20th...First full day in Vegas!!!

The kiddos promptly woke @ 630ish. After little sleep, we all got up and started moving. Mom took the kiddos after breakfast so that Brett and I could meet with the chapel and go get our marriage license.

Sign outside the marriage bureau. Brett and I were cracking up. We already had everything done online, so all we had to do is give our names. There was a couple next to us and they seemed drunk. The guy got a call and answered it with, "What's up, fa-shizzle?" The lady who was working on our stuff looked up, rolled her eyes, and went back to what she was doing lol. Wonder how long THAT marriage will last?!?!?!

The Imperial Palace has impersonators as dealers. The kids saw this way creepy Michael Jackson impersonator and wanted to take a pic with him. CREEPY but eh, they liked him lol. It was kinda cool to walk thru the lobby. Sometimes "Celine" was singing, or "Toby Keith" etc. Some looked better than others....

After all was said and done (and we dragged the kids all over Vegas after lunch) we chilled by the pool.

Now, you see that girl? She's holding Jake. When he got in the pool, he was immediately drawn to the volleyball game in the pool. The adults were way cool and let him play even though he wasn't that great. This girl took a shine to Jake. It was rather cute. She would lift him up to serve, etc. He was in heaven.

Liv was mad at me because I wouldn't go back into the pool with her, so she snuggled with Aunt Patsy, who stopped by after checking in to say HI before they went off to a show with the rest of the family.

Josey, checking FB on my phone. She kept saying she was cold. We couldn't figure it out because the weather was great. Come to find out, she was sick and running a fever. We didn't know it until later.

We went out after dinner to check out more of Vegas. We were attempting to scout out a place to get pics taken. The kids were pointing at the statue's penis. Why Liv is doing a peace sign, I have no idea.

this is one of my favorite pics =)

Inside the Venetian. There's the peace sign again....

The littles got tired, so Brett took them back to the hotel. Josey and I went on to the Belliagio to see about getting pics taken there (which is where we settled on) This was in front of Ceasar's Palace.

Josey and I wearing balloon hats we bought off a wheelchair guy near the Belliagio.

Josey was DYING to get a pic with Elvis.

We got lucky and caught the water show at the Belliagio.

May 19th take 2-Unacceptable...Try harder.

So, we finally got thru the airport (which entailed shuttles, escalators, elevators, etc) and thru the taxi line (40 minutes, thank you very much) and got to the hotel. The kids, at this point, were in no mood to be good anymore. Apparently they wasted it on the Redmond Airport and getting thru the Las Vegas Airport. Needless to say, they were fighting, yelling at each other, etc. and I was D.U.N DONE. After waiting in the check in line for at least 20 minutes, we get to the check in counter. Now, I've had 5 years of hotel experience. Enough to know that when the agent is dinking with the keys for 5 minutes, they don't have the connecting rooms we requested. I'm getting more and more irriated (not just at the desk clerk, but the kids) and she turned to us and said I'm sorry, I don't have any connecting rooms tonight. I can get you as close as possible. At this point, I turned to the lady and said, "Unacceptable. Try harder." So, she went away for another 15 minutes. I thought I was going to LOSE MY MIND. She finally comes back and said they decided to upgrade us to one of the Penthouse suites for the night, then move us to the connecting rooms in the am. Thank you very much, we'll take it. We get up to the room, and walk into the master bath. The tub is SO big, the kids decided they wanted to go swimming in it. After all the crap we'd been thru, we said go for it.

They loved it. The mirror didn't stay clean for long (thanks, Liv and Jake) I don't think we all finally calmed down and fell asleep until 1am, then the kiddos were up by 6:30. Friday the 20th was good times...

May 19th-On My Way to Vegas-WOO HOO!!!

We all flew to Vegas on the 19th so Brett and I could get married. The kids could not wait. Of course, Alligent was running late (over an hour!) which we slowly learned was the norm for them. The kids were great at keeping themselves occupied while we waited.

Li watched a movie and colored (or was doing stickers? I can't remember)

Jake and I took pics together lol Doesn't he look so cute?!?!?!?!

Josey was reading a magazine...

Once we got on the airplane, Liv was beyond thrilled. They all did really well. When we first got in the air, Liv got all excited and said, "I think I can see the ocean!" Then, when we landed in Vegas, she looked out the window and exclaimed, "I can see our house!" lol. Don't think so, sweetie!

May 8th-Me and my Babies!

I stopped by my Mom's house for something. Not sure what or why. Either way, I had her take a pic of me and the kiddos =) They're getting so big. It's not fair.

May 6th-How does he DO it???

I was cooking dinner one day, and I came around the corner, and there's Jake, all weird, playing his DS. I just don't get it. How does he do it?? That boy cracks me up...

April 27th-Jake's first A on his penmanship test!!

Finally, the elusive A!!! Jake worked really hard for it. Great job, Jakey!

April 26th-A Case of the Hives for Liv =(

Liv started having fevers off and on from the beginning of April. Finally, out of the blue, she broke out in a horrible rash. I'd never seen hives, so I was slightly freaked out. I took her to the drs finally. They said she had an allergic reaction to the fever/virus. Huh? Either way, poor kid was miserable for a couple of days. The below pics were taken (and no, that one, she isn't naked. She's in her undies at the drs office) Took a few days for the fever to finally go away. I made sure that we had 2 different sets of bloodwork to make sure everything was ok.

April 24th-Easter-Crazy Straw!

The Easter bunny (AKA Nana) got Jake a crazy straw that you wear like glasses. I am thankful that he hasn't remembered this since Easter. He did look funny, though =)

April 17th-Easter Thru The Years...

Every year I take pics of the kids wearing their Easter ears and peep glasses, in the same chair, in the same position. I'm sadly missing 3 years. I can't seem to find the pics, but here's what I have. Can you believe how much they've grown?!?!?!?
